- Greetings all, I've been considering the possibility of picking up a switching power supply for portable usewith the Scout etc. and wondered what experiences with such any of you on the list havehad.

- I use an MFJ-4125 switcher. 25 amps and It fits in the palm of your hand, weights about 3 lbs and so far I have heard no QRM from it. There is a tiny fan inside to keep it cool but it's very quiet. C

- There was a supply specifically made for the Scout but since discontinued for sale by Ten Tec. However, check their list of used and demo equipment on the tentec@contesting.com reflector for old ones
