Hello Jim. How does the Orion's main RX compare to the RX-340? I am very pleased and impressed with the Orion's performance. The RX performance is, without a doubt, the best I have ever experienced!

Hi Jim, On RTTY < and possibly other digital modes?>, it is VERY handy to have a FAST tuning rate, and a SLOW tuning rate. I only operate RTTY as to digital stuff, but would imagine the newer modes

Well, you are ahead of me; my Orion is somewhere in the 2nd production run. Guessing it will come sometime earlier, not later in May, but of course, not sure. Anyway, I plan to do a good comparison

Jim Suggest it's this thing called antipodal convergence. http://www.lwca.org/library/lfprop/adcock/lfprop1.htm mentions under convergence for VLF but IIRC I read something about it for HF as well. I
