My Omni VI has found a new home along with its manual, but I seem to remember that you can use a combination of the sidetone and CW buttons to send CW without transmitting. I THINK that you push the

I checked my VI with a sensitive output meter - with the "power" pot at full CCW and even with quite a few degrees CW from the stop the pin stayed at zero. Not that switching the antenna to dummy loa
