- The new mobile rig ScoutII will appear in the same cabinet as the original. Instead of the plug-in modules, the new technology will accomodate the usual hambands including 5, 50, 144, 220 and 440 mhz

- As much as we like to dream, the reality is that RF HF transistors are getting harder and harder to find. The industry has shifted to the UHF and above. That creates problems in producing a Scout II.

- What's this about a Scout II? I didn't hear about it. I thought that the Argonaut V replaced the Scout. Also, it was the 1940's vintage AN/CRT-3 rescue transmitter that had the reel out antenna. Bob
