Hello group, Has anyone used an AL-811 with a Triton IV? I am looking at doing this want to make sure it will work. I know the amp has an ALC circuit that controls the tranceiver output, but I'm not

Hi Glenn, It should work just fine. No Ten-tec made, to my knowledge has ever had a ALC input from an amp because it's not needed. Most rigs, Kenwood, Icom etc have no way to set a maximum output pow

I never use an ALC line, on any amp. I usually tune the radio for max smoke from the amp then back the power from the transciever down about 5 watts or so. this drops the output down a tad, and keeps
