I just sent in my order for my O2. I had a question about which roof filters to get. I went fo the 1.8 and 300 but I might change this. I figured that the 1.8 would work well for naroow SSB, and that

Bob, Congratulations on the OII...hope you get it soon. I sure enjoy mine. Filters: Get all three. It's an inconsequential cost (when compared with the cost of the radio) and you'll be glad you did.

I don't think the 300 Hz roofing filter would be too narrow for RTTY - the 170 or 200 Hz shift used in RTTY or Pactor should have no problems within a 300 Hz 4-pole filter. Remember, sharp skirts are
