I'd start out running the Orion off the 961 and see how it does. The p.s.s Ten Tec are making now are all switching supplies anyway. The 961 can handle brief high current demands so if you are at 22

I have a TT Corsair II and a Pegasus...and I have replaced the dc input with something a bit stouter to handle the current flow. IMHO the oem are inadequate to handle max current flow for long peroid

understand why the orion pulls 24 A when it has (I'm told) the same p.a. as the jupiter in it. << My Orion draws 19 - 20 A in CW key down at full power 100W. RX draws almost 3 A, when the software is

The TT spec for the Orion tx current draw is 24 or 25 A; Jupiter 20. I guess Orion's processors and extra circuitry add on to the load. First time I have seen a solid state exciter draw that much d.c
