- An ex-Pegasus (now FlexRadio) user has told me that he attenuated RF feedback from an antenna in close proximity by bypassing his mike input line to chassis ground with a 100 uH RF choke. Has anyone

- Actually, my question was a facetious one that I thought would inspire a smile or two. I thought Bill's "must be a CW only guy" comment was the best retort. If my new friend wasn't a CW-exclusive ope

- A 100 uH choke across the mike input to ground would look almost like a dead short at audio frequencies. He probably doesn't have any RFI and most likely doesn't have any transmit audio either. So in

- Actually 100 uh at 4 MHz is only 2K. On a 50K input it could cut some RF and enhance RF where the input C resonated the choke. On the other hand that choke surely has a series resonance and would be

- Hi Bob, Yup, the comment was tongue in cheek. The contact wit the RF choke advice was one of those blustery "I know quite a bit about everything" types. I did agree with him that his method would cer
