Is anyone with a TenTec rig using the QSK-5 adapter with a non-QSK amp? If I get this gizmo, does it really allow...say an SB220 or TL922 to operate in QSK mode? So I guess the loud T/R relay in the

I bought an external QSK-5 and ended up blowing the front end out of my rig. The instruction manual is non rig/amp specific and requires allows for a lot of interpretation and requires some rigging.

Dave, Steve I picked up a QSK-5 at Dayton 2003 for $175 new. It had an intermittent that took a few minutes to find - fortunately it was only a cold solder joint. Use the QSK-5 with an Elecraft K2/10

I have used variations of the QSK-5 and its predecessor the PIN-5 in 4 different amps. The PIN-5 had a design error in the choice of a switching transistor that repeatedly blew out. I have never had
