John, I don't think you can (legally) tune any of the LDG tuners outside of the ham bands. The LDG tuners require the presence of RF to tune, even when tuning manually using the front panel switches

John, I have an MFJ-941D tuner that I use with my Omni D. When I use it with my Jupiter, I just make sure the internal tuner is not engaged and then tune for "maximum smoke" coming out the speaker. T

Ben and group I toutinely use the SG 239 to peak a signal outside the ham bands. If I want to listen to the BBC on 15.190 MHz, I tune the wire at the high end of 20 meters. It works fairly well. Ron
