Hi Guys, I need some help or ideas on this PTO I have mounted in a Corsair II here. I've determined to swap out the PTO entire box, and have put out a WTB for same, but maybe someone on the list has

You need that 3rd bearing in there first and I would bet that will fix your problem. The core is probably binding inside the coil from since it can not be true and straight without that 3rd bearing.

Lumpy grease on the screw? In my Corsair's PTO it tuned poorly going down compressing the spring, there was a great deal of slip in the vernier because of a deep groove worn (crooked too) by the ball
