Can anyone explain the use of the USER buttons? I set my Orion up as I like it, press the USER1 button for 2 seconds to store the current settings. I then press the USER1 button for 1 second and the

I think I answered my own question! USER is a non volatile memory. Guess the first thin one is to do when turning on the O2 is press USER1 for 2 seconds. Once the rig is turned off it's "good by" set

The User1 User2 (and 3 and 4 if you look at the manual) are not going to evaporate when the rig is turned off. That would defeat the purpose of the buttons. If your settings are disappearing, you may

Brent is right. The stored settings in these memories do not dissapear. The User1 User2 (and 3 and 4 if you look at the manual) are not going to evaporate when the rig is turned off. That would defea
