Just what is the amount of delay (or is it more accurately "advance") on the Orion amp keying line? Is the factory default safe? I can't find a place to change it unless the keying loop is enabled an

The amp keying line is energized about 10 to 20 msec ahead of keying and is not adjustable. This should be very safe for amp relays. Only the drop out time is adjustable. Carl Moreschi N4PY Franklint

Rick I think I am talking about a different issue. As I understand the TX menu, you are adjusting how long the amp stays keyed after the transmission stops -- the "hang time" it is called in the manu
