A friend of mine in DL has trouble with his Orion I. The output power is now at about 85 watts. This is independent of band. Small changes in the 13v supply has no influence on the power. He does not

But power poles I contend are not the long term solution because they depend on plastic that tends to release pressure for contact pressure. Collins rules would not have allowed using them. 73, Jerry

I have this or a similar problem with my Orion I, but only on bands on freqs above 18 MHz. AS I turn up the power the red ALC light comes on and the power meter gives a little "bounce" and the power

I have a similar problem with my Orion I, but the problem is not noticeable on bands below 18 mhz. As I turn up the power toward 100, the power meter does a little hiccup and then the red ALC light g
