Thanks a lot Mike, that answers the ALC aspect of the question. Just for clarification though, you say to set the ALC SET to where the actual RF output as measured by an external wattmeter is about 1

Art, I believe you are correct. I would set the ALC pot for 100 watts and not 110. The power indicator is supposed to read watts and not percentage. If you exceed 100 watts, you signal will start to

The information in the manual for adjusting the alc level with the led is incorrect also. You will have no problem with the speech processor either if you adjust everything as per the article. Amateu
