does Xlog not send the CW to a serial or parallel port? i use MixW and it sends the keying to your choice of several serial ports or the parallel port (printer port). Jack ___________________________

I don't think the OrionII can be keyed by the serial port. I use a rigblaster pro to handle the keying - the DTS serial port handshaking line is used to key the Orion via the keying jack on the back

John, i had to built a simple switch to key my Orions. there is a circuit diagram in MixW showing a diode, transistor, and two resistors that is keyed by a serial port or parallel port from the compu
