As for me, and I suspect I'm typical, I get great audio reports with my Omni V (V.9). I find my audio is best with the stock Ten-Tec 705 desk mic.... and I also use a Heil Pro Set with the HC-5 eleme

It's pretty hard to beat the Ten Tec 705 microphone for good fidelity and simplicity. If you want to step up to something of an even better quality, you may want to consider their new Studio One mic
