I've finally got the chance to get the Omni 6+ on the bench. After replacing a very intermittent C31xtal oven trimmer, I started looking closer. I'm getting a rx "warble" now at about a 2hz rate. If

I notice that I can adjust C31 to minimize the warbling, resulting in a calibration error of 0.7Khz on the main tuning dial. Could this because the xtal oven frequency is off? Trying to bring the fre

Barry, Have you tried the TCXO kit from Ten Tec? I have installed several and the PLL does settle down some as the result. I have also had problems with poor solder joints on the PLL board. as well a
