Jerry makes a good point, a GOOD audio transformer should be used when doing mike isolation. The ideal ones from AM Broadcast days were inside steel cans which gave the desired magnetic shielding. Lo
Oops! Stuart, I meant to send this to everyone, including Mark. There are some neat devices on the market that makes isolation a plug and play situation. Check the products at your local music store
I was reading some of the comments on using a Heil Goldline. The Heil is a dynamic mic does not require any voltage. On my Jupiter I use a Radio Shack Pro-301 (just as good as a Heil and a lot less)
