1. [TenTec] OII SWR Indication Off on 10 m (score: 1)

I have an OII that has been updated with V3.026 and so far have no issues, except... Now I notice that my SWR indication is off on 10 m. When I look into a dummy load, all bands save 10 m sees the SW

Note that this probably is NOT related to the V3 firmware -- I simply don't know why the SWR indication would be different on 10 m, but just dandy on 12 and all other bands. N5OP ____________________

Funny, when I tried it with Orion II v3.027 I got 1.0 in the Tune position and 1.4 with full output, on 28.500. 73 Ray W2RS _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@

Does that mean that you see something strange, too? I'm on 3.026 with my O II and I can't believe this is a software issue unique to 10 m. I'm simply curious as to what it may be. The internal tuner

Ah, you're using the internal tuner. I don't have one. Maybe it's a tuner issue? 73 Ray W2RS _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.con

While I suppose that's a possibility, it makes no sense that this appears only on 10 m and not 12 m. Of course, the tuner can be bypassed -- doing so makes no difference. I bypassed the internal tune

Kim First, is the external tuner auto or manual? If it is manual, and you get a 1:1 match on an independent wattmeter, John and the beta testers have another problem to fix. Second, did you try a dif

Probably the actual VSWR AT the interal sensor. Add an electrical 10 M 1/4 wave jumper in current dummy load circuit to determine if it is due to current line length and impedance. 73 ES DX, Gary --

Actually, the O II SWR sensor was never that accurate anyway, compared to a good external wattmeter. The O II SWR reading is also dependent on the power level, i.e., it reads higher at full output th

I had noticed the dependence on power level before and thought it odd. I've also noticed that it didn't seem all that accurate compared to an independent meter. Is the reflectometer used for the inte
