Gary, While not having any experience with amp blower fans, my shack is right next to the furnace. The heil headphones do a fair job filtering that blower noise out. The ear pieces on the head phones

I have a the Heil Quiet Phone Headset. While wearing them, you cannot hear any fan noise from an amp. You can hear and understand voices from someone standing next to you but you cannot hear yourself

i would think that working on quieting the fan on an amp would be the best plan... IT IS AN AMP.... and the rest of the world will get to hear the amp's fan better than one with noise canceling headp
