Ive always wanted to put in one of those DDS VFOs that run on 5.0 to 5.5 mhz. would make for an interesting project. theres plenty of room behind the dial for an encoder. The only issue would be some

I suppose thats true - given the repair kit was general over that 70s/80s vintage stuff. My rig is the analog version, btw. Wouldnt it be nice if there was a DDS replacement that could handle the old
