Jerry- On 1st look what you have laid out is correct. The only change I would make, is to "wire around" the amplifier in the mic. It certainly is not nedded (Or wanted, in my opinion) for your Delta.

There is no need to bypass the D104 preamp. I use amplified D104 mics with my Omni V and Argonaut II, and get excellent audio reports. I have a deep voice and the mics work out fine for me. The ampli

The D-104 mike with out the preamp requires a very high impedance input to work correctly and sound good. The preamp is basically an electronic transformer to provide the required high Z to the mike
