I have been using a standard Astatic D-104 mike with good results on my OMNI- D. I was wondering if the TEN TEC desk stand mike (#705A) offers any better/same/lesser audio quality than the D-104. THA

Alan, It has been a long time since I have had a D-104 on one of my Ten Tec's. I currently have a 705 on the Paragon and am not really impressed with it. The audio is not as smooth as what I am used

I have a Shure 444 - its wired for my TR-7 and it did a good job. Does it have enough output for the Omni-V ?? I have tried a Heil insert - it got good reports but needs the mike gain set to the top
