- The IF output on the Jupiter is useless for a panadapter. The first IF is 45 mhz, the second is 455 khz but very narrow. The way to do a panadapter with the Jupiter is to do the N4PY receive antenna

- A 45 MHz IF is not the end of the world.... my first choice would be to use a higher end Dongle with 12 bit resolution (cheaper Dongles are only 8 bit.) They'll at least give you a usable, if not fan
