I keep a small natural fiber (wool, I think) duster in the shack and just give everything a quick one over maybe once a week. Dust collects on the top surfaces of knobs and and anything else horizon

I guess it could get expensive after a while, but I have "dusted" with canned "air", as in the stuff they sell to keep your pc clean. Probably have to be careful not to blow dust in at any openings.
