I have an elderly YL friend who has expressed an interest in a Hercules II & p.s. to facilitate QRO use with her OMNI VI. Is this amp a viable option, and if so, does anyone have one f.s., reasonably

Hi Ron, The Hercules II amplifier is an excellent amplifier to pair up with an Omni VI. The the two can be wired up for Omni VI band switching control of the Hercules II too. (someday I'll get around

The Herc II is a very operator friendly, good quality amp. It DOES require that the load connected to it be pretty close to 50 ohms -- in other words, it needs a tuner between it and most antennas. T
