This may sound silly, but instead of going through adapters, etc., I removed the Icom connector from my ProSet and used the four-pin TT connector. Results were no problem at all using the ProSet with

Duane, Hello my friend, well I can tell you what works here. I have a Heil Goldline with the standard Heil TT cable, works fine EXCEPT on 10 mtrs when I use 400 watts out, I get lots of RF feedback (

Lee - Mine is only about 8 weeks old, so I'm assuming it has the ground connection made at the connector. I'm looking more at whether modifying the Heil adapter will solve the problem. I'll probably

If you have RF feedback, it may be a pin 1 problem. Cable shields should go to the chassis, NOT to the circuit board. All the TenTec gear I have takes them to the circuit board and not the chassis, w

Duane, I can confirm that the standard Heil TT cables are not wired that way. I have had mine apart. Unfortunately in the case of the Heil Goldline a Mod inside the Mic is also required to have the M
