That filter almost sounds like the four pole filter My Argosy uses as it's "fixed" filter, not the 250hz, 500hz, 1.8khz, units. I was checking the International Radio filter and it isn't one of their

HI Scott, Can't answer your Omni questions, as I only own a Corsair and an Argonaut. I can vouch for the InRad filters, though. I have the stock TT filters in all positions [9 MHz IF] except 250 Hz,

You CAN work CW effectively with only the stock TT SSB filters, but under crowded band conditions it takes a fair bit of practice to do it. Its much more comfortable to listen to a narrower bandwidth
