I have the same issue and it IS the filter in my case. 217 filter. Replacement filter solves issue. Does anyone know the capacitor values on the board as mine are not marked? Thank you for any advice

Folks, I failed to tell you in my first post that my rig is the Omni 6 with option 3, so I have two optional filter slots in the 9mhz IF. I tried a 1.8 filter in the same slot and it loses about 1/2
