Hi: Just installed a 2.1KHz Inrad filter in the Narrow-2 postion of my Omni VI+ and noticed a loss of ca. 10 db in signal strength. I had to install a 0.01mF blocking capacitor on the filter board to

Yes, I am surprised George didn't install it for you to begin with. INRAD figured out the need for the DC blocking caps pretty quickly, the DC path makes problems for the switching bias on the diodes
