Mike and others, My Omni VI has a place in the #1 User Menu which allows turning OFF the 10 minute ID reminder beep, and also another beep signal. Will that help, Mike? Charles - N5UL _______________

I'll give that a try next time I am up at the remote site, Charles. Worst-case I suppose I can get into the schematic and figure out some way to mute the audio output during SSB transmissions. I pref

Chas, Changing the "ANN" function under hidden menu #1 from "ALL" to "OFF" did the trick. This is the annunciation beep function that causes the unit to emit a short beep when any of the front-panel
