I have loud S-5 birdies in two places on 17 meters cw with my Argo 6. I don't hear them on any other rigs. One is at 18.074.60 and 18.092.35, antenna disconnected and operating on battery power. The

Change the PBT a bit. Usually this moves them such they aren't objectionable. I don't recall mine. I'll check when I get back to where the radio is located as we are traveling at present. 73 Bob K4TA

Back home after vacation and now in front of the radio. Yes they are present however mine are about S-2 to S-3. And frequency of the birdies is affected by mode, BW and PBT. 73 Bob, K4TAX I have loud
