- Hello Shawn, Another ham and myself looked into converting a 12 or 30M Scout module into a 6M module for the Scout. It seems that it is not worth the effort due to the Scout PA and some other issues.

- Bummer; I was only looking for a few watts for the low end of the band anyhow. Since the Scout doesn't do FM, 50.3 up isn't worth covering (from what I understand anyhow of the usage of the band). I

- Using the 1208 transverter takes a lot less engineering. The low IF of the Scout could make keeping down mixer products a significant pain. There's no need for extended coverage on 6m, like Shawn say
