I observed something pretty significant tonight while doing some comparisons between the Main and Sub receivers. I hadn't used the Sub on anything but AM since the II arrived. It's 2.030, resets done

Grant: I just checked mine and it appears to do the same thing. Setting up the Main at LSB, BW=1800, PBT=0, and the same thing on the Sub, there is a very noticeable difference. Tweaking the Sub PBT

The sub sounds tinny because of the PBT differences. This has always been the case, even with the Orion I. There is a difference on how the filters are set in the passband with the sub-receiver. You

The low end on the sub-receiver isn't behaving like it's simply fixed in a different position. It appears to shift even higher as the bandwidth is narrowed. At 3 Khz BW it takes around 50 Hz PBT shi

I have reproduced Grant's observation as well. I am a bit tone deaf so these things are harder for me to recognize (maybe that is good). But because of that it does not bother me that much. Let's see
