Could be I have been lucky but I have never had problems with my Ameritron AL-811. I run mine off an OMNI V. I use the tune key to tune the amp. I have had the amp for 8 years and bought it used. It

I agree with Dan. I have had my 811H for almost 3 years. I bought it used at Dayton and use it with my Omni VI. I use the tune button on the Omni and tune it in low power.(Approx 15 to 20 watts). I c
