hi, I was asked the other day what the difference is between a 705 and 706 desk mic and how they fare on the new Jupiters... a local buddy is interested in a Jupiter but can't find the 705 on TenTec'

Jason, The 705 and 706 are essentially the same. The 705 has provisions in the bottom for a 9 volt battery and also a switch to tell the controls on the mike base if you operate VOX or PTT. The 706 e
