- The TT transverter kits are wonderful and will work well with any HF rig that you can power down to 5 watts or less output. The 2M kit is substantially easier to build than the 6M transverter. IMHO.

- Ten*Tec sells the owners manual which is also the service manual. Could be that nothing is really wrong with the radio because of something as simple as the ALC knob not being turned fully clockwise.

- Alan, Are you sure that you are actually losing the "weak" CW signal, and not just filtering them out of the passband? Once you "lose" a signal, use the RIT in the fine tuning mode to try and retune
