The mic gain on a friend's Omni V has become extremely sensitive. 1/8 turn rotation of the Mic gain pot is maximum that is useable. Any more and the audio becomes extremely distorted and un-readable.

Mic gain on friend's Omni V is extremely sensitive. 1/8 rev of pot causes full output. Audio extremely distorted if mic gain turned up too high. ALC led works OK. Could be ALC problem... Anyone have
