I never noticed drift on mine. How much drift - a few Hz or a few kHz? Have you rebuilt the VFO to replace hard grease? Is it sitting on top of a heat source? Drift of a few Hz would be normal. Good

Can't be a missing jumper if the radio works on 15 M. Mine has that problem when the switch contacts get dirty. TenTec sells a rebuilding kit for the VFO. On their web site is a PTO rebuild gallery.
