- Hi Newbie hereI have recently won a Omni C, It was purchase knowing that it had a fault on it, it had suffered damage to the switches ( Vox,Qsk etc) and slight bend in the shaft of band select switch

- Hi BarryThanks for that info, will try that, but, for the moment I have another Omni c, which works so I am board swapping at the moment, I have found a problem with the IF board, possibly the 40823

- Hi AllJust an update on my Omni C.It turned out to be self inflicted I'm afraidwhilst waiting for the replacement switches to arrive I changed all the tropical fish capacitors for epoxy types.Turned

- Hi AllI have a problem with my Orion C, low RF output, typically 30 watts only, no ALC light, traced the fault to a tant cap on the tx mixer board, the fitted board number is 90857, the diagram shows

- Hi all.Just an update on the low RF output problem I experienced on my OMNI C, I removed the TX mixer board and replaced the 4.7mf tant as I have had bad experience with these components in the past.
