- Dennis I just found the readings as received on the first replacement set of meters I got from TT . 4/27/2005 They were both 2.380 volts with 1 ma through the meter. Everything read with a Fluke DVM

- When you open it to dust it out - look carefully at the PC board between the two HV wires from the transformer - there have been some random arcs /tracking there - on mine they even added some Glypta

- If the fan is like the one for the Orion , just attached to the PA heatsink externally - its verrrry quiet - almost inaudible - and in my case the keying reed relay is much louder . Hank K7HP _______

- If you mean 200 ma not 0.2 ma - very likely a blown transistor in the 81537 FILAMENT_AC board which has the bias regulator transistors and zener on it . Used to be a 2N3055 and a MPSU101 - and 8.2 v

- I replaced two sets of meters and they have all been around 2400 ohms and 1 ma full scale. at full scale its 2.3 to 2.4 volts - I have seen no issue whatever with the zeners. One could use 3.9 or 4.3

- Hmmmmnnn- If you are talking about the 5 pin DIN to RCA dongle that TT supplies with the Orion it does NOT bring out the true FSK line which is on pin 7 of a standard 8 pin DIN. Both 5 and 8 pin DINs

- Doyle - Its some what of a pita to get to but the bottom two screws can be reached with a long allen wrench - TT provided the holes which allow a long allen wrebnch to get to those without taking out
