I suspect that it will effect both TX and RX. However, it will probably not tune until you transmit. So if you switch bands, it will not tune RX until after you TX. 73, Bob __________________________

I have a problem with RF on 40m and below getting into my speaker and mic lines. In both cases, beads solved the issue. Then I discovered that a choke clamped over the coax near the antenna helped. T
