- I use my Scout about a foot from my 35-amp Astron power supply, which the Scout runs off at 50 watts. Never had a problem with either. Hope no problems once I hook up the Omni 6 Plus! Bob - KZ2G Bob

- Just got my Omni 6 Plus from Ten Tec and I love it. I was previously using the Scout, which I love too. But this is like going from a basic Model-T Ford to a fully equipped Rolls Royce! Amazing radio
