Just got my SteppIR up yesterday. All is well, except... Hooked the Orion serial port to the Steppir data in using Steppir-supplied "K2" cable. Set everything up according to manual, I think. No comm

The SteppIR cable "K2" has Orion-Steppir connections: 2-2, 3-3, 5-5, shell-shell, and pins 7-9 jumpered at SteppIR side. This accords with the Steppir document at http://www.steppir.com/pdf/serial%20

That's an interesting thought. How would a transceiver know or care about your rotator setting? The SteppIR frequency can be set via your transceiver, of course. I suppose you are asking about comput

Yes, I've seen this behavior, and some other random artifacts in SubRx tuning that come up for no apparent reason and need a power reset to fix. (v 1.371) These must be firmware programming problems.

For what it's worth (OT), I expect the power ratings (and frequency response, too) are based on 1:1 VSWR / 50 ohms. It would be useful to know what they can do with say 2:1 VSWR. I.e., you want some
