Have you reset the Jup?  There are goblins in that setup that can come out of the dark and blindside you.  I think I had my encoder act up one time and it was solved with a reset of the rig. Mark Mil

I suspect that Jup still has the original chip in it.  If so, it will only hold one personality at a time.  You have to have the personalities on your computer and reload the new personality mode eve

Don't think I went far enough in explaining...if you won't be using the CW mode, you don't HAVE to install the larger chip.  Just download the 538 mode from the Ten Tec site and load it into the Jupi

I've had mine since 2002 and still love it to death.  I had the larger chip put in because I was curious and also thought it would keep its value longer, but after a few tries with the CW personality
