Well for $30 you can get a foot pedal from MFJ. And to me if the switch keeps breaking, why keep replacing it... Just eliminate the problem... Just out of curiosity how long are the switches lasting?

I am thinking that it is probably a bad solder joint on the board I can not get to easily (go figure). The board I pulled out I did do a visual inspection of the solder joints, and they all looked OK
