The TenTec 229/238 tuners have a shortfall on 160 meters because of the 470pf disc caps will not handle the currents involved.  You should replace them with 470pf doorknob caps.  I found them on ebay

My caps also didn't have any screws.  I used 10/32 screws that worked great. Be careful to use the correct length.  I had one of the threaded ends come loose. I had the reheat it and worked great.  I

Kim,  Most likely TT replaced two 1k pots in the final PA. Normally there are two pots in the RF deck. Had my Jupiter back to they for service and ot was quick and painless.  Cannot say anything but
