I have had a problem occur when using an loop receiving antenna on the aux receive antenna input when transmitting on the main dipole (with a Yeasu 990). I had to put crossed diodes on the aux input.

I have a factory Omni VI+ (1997) and it has the temp controlled oven oscillator. I think the TCXO is the temp compensated oscillator...so no warmup time. My ovenized osc seems to be fairly stable aft
