Hi! I also bought an Omni VI through the list not too long ago. I've been operating CW almost exclusively. The ham I bought the rig from mentioned that he usually backed off on the RF gain a little.

Hello, My Omni 6 has gone "dark" on me at times: a few times when I first turned it on; once after it was already on. By "dark" I mean that the light for the meter went off and the frequency display
